"Spreading Wings: Tutoring Support for Poverty Students Program" funded by China Beststudy Education Group

Jointly initiated by China Beststudy Education Group, Charity Association in Guangzhou City and Charity Association in Yuexiu District in 2011, the "Spreading Wings: Tutoring Support for Poverty Students Program" is a charity project determined to care for disadvantaged groups and repay society. Within the project’s five-year implementation period, primary and secondary school students from poor families or families receiving minimum social security benefits will be expected to be provided with courses worth of 5 million yuan. They will receive free extracurricular tutoring funded by China Beststudy Education Group which will provide them with opportunities to change their destinies with knowledge.

Local charity associations will verify the recipients’ family background and give advice on it. Once approved, the eligible children can acquire targeted courses they need and an extracurricular tutoring program on one subject worth of 1,000-2,000 yuan each semester. The covering area of this project is limited to Guangzhou city and Zhuhai city for now. But it is expected to radiate in all directions, covering the entire province in the future.
